Kenya's Patrick Ivuti wins Prague marathon

(AP) — PRAGUE - Patrick Ivuti of Kenya won the Prague International Marathon in a new track record Sunday as his countrymen swept the other two podium spots.
Ivuti pulled away from Stephen Kibiwott in the final stretch to finish in 2 hours, 7 minutes, 48 seconds. Kibiwott was six seconds back in second, and last year's winner Kenneth Mungara was third in 2:10:29.
The old track record of 2:08:52 was set in 1998 by Kenya's Elijah Lagat.
